This event is the highlight on the calendar of the risk management profession, where risk management professionals gather to listen to experts in the industry, find out what is new in the profession and to network. This year’s topic is “Future Fit Risk Management: Illuminating the Future of Risk” and features stellar line-up of speakers, such as:
- Panyaza Lesufi, MEC for education,
- Nicky Weimar, Senior Economist at Nedbank,
- Graeme Codrington, Futurist and Author, and
- Siyabulela Xuza, Entrepreneur, Energy-Engineer and Innovator.
Introducing Riskonnect
Besides exhibiting Riskonnect, thryve has provided the app for the conference, which allows delegates to interact with each other as well as the conference speakers.
“Additional functionality that the app has is a risk-readiness survey which will allow delegates to interact with the Riskonnect system and provides IRMSA with analytics capabilities for the data gathered.” says Riaan Bekker – Riskonnect Solutions Manager at thryve.
Riskonnect is a state-of-the-art platform that assists companies in managing their risk efficiently. There are a number of modules available on the Riskonnect platform. These are:
- Riskonnect GRC,
- Riskonnect RMIS,
- Riskonnect EHS, and
- Riskonnect HEALTHCARE.
Of particular interest to delegates at the IRMSA conference will be GRC. This module allows the user to, among others, set their company objectives, manage their governances, quantify their risk, stay on top of their controls and make sure they comply with all the legislation, regulation and other guidelines or standards that are relevant to them.
